Sugar Plums and Mistletoe for Flute Choir

This is a really good piece from Michael Isaacson. The opening section is immediately joyful, there is a gentler central interlude followed by the return of the upbeat opening. It's simply constructed too, with the lower parts providing the drive and and textures, while the upper ones have the bulk of the melodic material. . This is a break from carols and other seasonal songs and would make a wonderful opening to any Christmas concert. It's a real crowd pleaser!
