From the Publisher

Light snow, powder snow, fine snow, peony snow, cotton snow, blowing snow...there are various expressions of snow. Like "hanabira," it flutters down and lays on the ground...with its pure white, it replaces the usual extreme colors with a blanket of white. Under the snowdrops that have fallen to the ground, young buds are growing vigorously, awaiting the wakening of spring. Motifs symbolizing the snow falling, riding the wind, and drifting in fluttering flurries dominate the entire piece, within a theme of long phrases having clear expression. This detailed sound pattern is followed by a dizzying array of notes, but the music should be presented in a melodic manner. Spontaneous agogic emphasis is also expected. Please create beautiful scenery. Premiered by Koyamadai Senior High School Symphonic Band, Tokyo (Yosuke Fukuda)
