An attractive and accessible wind quintet in three movements. The first and last, full of character and humour, encompass a thoughtful and poignant middle movement that draws its inspiration from Schubert’s Winterreise. Written in memory of the composer’s father.
First performance was given in March 1992 by the Sheridan Wind Quintet ins St Martin-in-the-Fields
