This volume of 8 original swing pieces with backing tracks provides a fun and exciting introduction to a number of swing styles. Each piece includes an improvising opportunity over standard but straightforward chord sequences; alternatively the player can read the written solo. Also the pieces feature backing figures to accompany the soloist on the backing track.
This volume is available for a number of different instruments but they are all in the same concert keys and thus can be played on multiple instruments simultaneously using the appropriate books. The solos are different for each instrument and the backing figures are in harmony.

Difficulty level, roughly compared to ABRSM exam grades. 0 is total beginner, 9 is advanced (beyond grade 8).
