“Exhilarating”

Beth Penny Just Flutes staff member - [email protected]

Suite from ‘Travelling to Klezmer’ is bound to keep any audience on the edge of their seats. From the fun, spirited ‘March’ to the more gentle and bewitching ‘Zemer Atzuv’, the suite really does take you on a journey. There are numerous striking melodic motifs framed by compelling chord progressions, while the rhythmic movement in both flute and piano parts gives the music it’s distinctive character. A fantastic choice for classical players who are keen to dip into the sound world of Klezmer.

From the Publisher

The album “Traveling” to Klezmer” includes 16 pieces and is a real author’s comprehension of “Jewish Soul Music”. According to the canons of the genre, the musical version of the composition was first presented as a melodic line with chord symbols. Then, depending on the composition of the performers, were created various arrangements and transcriptions, There are versions for duets, trios, other chamber ensembles, for solo instruments and orchestra, and one of the pieces even became a song.
