'Sternenregen - Mosaic for Flute Solo was written in spring 2024 for the flutist Philipp Jundt and was created as an echo of the flute concerto 'Vier Momente'.
Whole passages from Four Moments have been wrenched out of their original context and reconstructed with song-like passages being constantly interrupted by virtuoso sections. The result is a colourful mosaic that allows the original motives to appear in a new light. The structural references, the tempo relations and the relationships between motifs link the individual pieces of the mosaic together to from a mulit-faceted picture.
