For the selection of flute pieces presented here, Ursula Trexler wrote accompanying parts which can be mastered quite happily even by beginners, so as to allow for making music on a partnership basis right from the start. From a technical point of view, the songs and pieces are arranged in order of difficulty, and always provide for a change in style and articulation, thus fostering the young student's joy of playing.
