Rituals for Flute and Piano

Blaz Pucihar certainly knows how to write for flutes and the popularity of his music for younger players is still growing fast. This is a much more substantial piece with a greater level of complexity but it still retains that easy-going style. Changing time signatures, speed variations, more advanced keys and use of the full range of the flute will challenge most players. The reward will be that the Rituals come to life in all thier various guises. This would be a lovely contrast within a varied recital programme.
