“Gentle and good for ensemble skills!”

Chris Hankin Just Flutes staff member - [email protected]
This is a lovely piece which offers the added bonus of developing counting and ensemble skills. It has an appealing 3/4 tune which is repetitive so there are not so many notes to master. The twist is mastering the art of playing this with the enigmatic accompaniment which is often tied across the bar line. Get that right and your piece will sound effortless!

From the Publisher

This gently reflective piece was written in 1987 as Background and Closing Title music for the Scillonia Films video, "Reflections on Scilly", a year long look at life on the Isles of Scilly, commissioned by Mike & Rose Codd (now Lambourn).
