Quintlexia for Flute Quintet (or Choir) by Cynthia Folio. From the composer: "Quintlexia (2013) is a quintet for five flutes (or flute choir). The piece is the result of a commission from the Oklahoma Flute Society as a celebration of the 20th Annual Oklahoma Flute Fair. The title comes from a Saturday Night Live skit in which Bill Murray is interviewed by Jane Curtain because he supposedly had a disability, called “quintlexia,” which meant that he could only say five words: “That’s true, you’re absolutely right.” His fictional character made millions—both despite, and as a result—of this “disability”.
