“A real treat!”
This is a very appealing piece of jazz writing which just swings along in a laid-back manner. It uses cascades of notes and contemporary techniques as an integral part of the blues style and making it all sound effotless is not entirely straightforward. It's worth the effort though, as it's great fun to play and great fun to listen to - a real treat!

Later, it was expanded into two versions. The product here for flute, piano, bass and drum set, there is additionally a version for flute and piano.
