Each flute is set-up by a professional at the Boston Haynes Shop right before it is shipped, ensuring the pads are sealed evenly and the mechanism feels crisp.

Continuing that tradition, Amadeus flutes come standard with a professional Haynes Classic handcut headjoint. The heart of the flute is trusted to the same master headjoint maker who handcuts all Haynes professional headjoints. The Classic headjoint allows you to explore a wide range of tone colors with depth and agility.
Our Description
The Wm. S. Haynes company is the oldest Boston flutemaker and has been well known and well-respected for many years. The Amadeus is their step-up flute, bringing the legendary Haynes sound to an affordable price point.
General Condition
This flute is in wonderful condition and has required very minimal work from our technician. There are a few very small surface scratches, which will not affect the playing ability of the instrument.
About Wm S Haynes
William S. Haynes first established his name as a flute maker through his dedication to exacting detail in every instrument that left his workshop. Then, in 1913, he created a breakthrough in design that set Haynes flutes even more above the rest. This breakthrough, which resulted in a patent, corrected a design flaw that had troubled flutemakers and players up until that time. Through a combination of classic detailed hand-craftsmanship and innovation in design and technique, Haynes set a standard that prevails to this day at the flute workshop that still bears his name.
