Our Description
This 1993 silver flute is a fine example of Brannen-Cooper flutes. The longstanding collaboration between the late Albert Cooper and the Brannen Brothers led to a number of characteristic features of Brannen flutes that remain a cornerstone of their instruments’ identity.
This flute features a 14k gold lip plate and riser in a classic cut embouchure. The Brögger Mechanik system provides a famously stable and wear-resistant platform for those playing the most technically demanding repertoire.
General Condition
This instrument has been through our workshop prior to sale and is in excellent condition - it has some minor scratches to the body tubing, but this is to be expected for a flute of this age, and is purely cosmetic. Being produced in 1993, it is a fine example of Brannen-Cooper's expert craftmanship.
