Our Description

The newly refined Altus A13 supercedes the Altus 1307; a highly popular instrument for players who prefer a lighter-weight flute with the same quality of scale, headjoint and mechanism of a soldered tone hole model. The A13 is equipped with a redesigned headjoint which allows players of all levels to explore a wide tonal palette. It also features the newly evolved  "Altus scale", and carefully calculated and precisely tuned harmonics. This flute is full of colourful overtones, and enables exploration of tone and musical expression for advanced players.

General Condition

This flute has been prepared for sale by a technician in our workshop, and is in great playing condition. Cosmetically, there are multiple surface scratches on the body and some keys. There are some minor dents by the G tone hole, and the far side of the lip plate - these are cosmetic, and will not affect  the integrity of the sound produced by the instrument.
