Saxophone Quartet/Quintet Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone, plus optional Bass. This perennial favourite has some fairly tricky quaver passages, particularly in the soprano part. It also gives saxophone players a chance to play music from the baroque period, with all the stylistic challenges this poses. The optional Bass saxophone part thickens the texture to give a truly orchestral sound. About grade 4-5 standard.
