Thirty-five original, intermediate to challenging, jazz studies for solo bass clarinet, or clarinet. Twenty-four include (optional) second parts for the teacher, or a second student, to perform as duets. These studies are concise and increasingly demanding, both technically and rhythmically and concentrate on the chalumeau register of the clarinet.
