“Lovely music for four flutes and piano”
Sometimes it's really nice to have an accompaniment to flute group music, and this lovely piece lends itself very well to this combination. It could also work well with a large choir as the nature of the piece is quite repetitive and the material is shared around equally. In G major with a simple rhythm, each part has some measure of independence but there is a fair amount of rhythmic unison. This makes is ideal for younger players, and the added bonus is that the piano part is also playable by a student.
A lovely and lyrical melody that just needed to be arranged for flutes!
