L'Almanach aux Images for piano was originally published in 1911, with each musical portrait prefaced by a poem by the French poet and musician Tristan Klinsor (better known for his musical association with Maurice Ravel). Here, 6 of the 8 movements are arranged for flute and piano, in a new edition which carefully captures the character of each piece, and would make a charming addition to a recital.
