There are 50 mini studies to choose from in this great little book. Ranging from the familiar names of Garibaldi and Andersen to the less common Wurm and La Droins, these little gems are an excellent alternative to a more structured warm-up routine, and can be used as intermediate level solo pieces. There's even a Rock-style backing track for a Berbiguier Presto! There's lots to love here whatever your level.

These Kickstarters appeared originally as a series of short motivational pieces, posted individually two or three times per week on FaceBook. They were my contribution to players during the difficult times of Covid-19, and I was amazed and delighted by the response to them. This edition appears as the result of requests by many, many people for these mini etudes to be published as one volume.
Although each little etude has a clear technical objective, all the studies have a tuneful quality, as my starting point for selecting each one was the basic criteria of 'do I enjoy playing it?'. If I got bored, it didn't make the final cut. I t was necessary also for each etude to be of a particular length, so frequently I had to adapt or abridge the originals, and then I started to compose ever larger linking sections, responding to the taste and requirements revealed in the comments of the players.
Etudes include: one study in the Spanish Phrygian mode, one study using Whole Tone scales, and two studies written in an Octatonic scale, as well as optional harmonics practice.
The cover for the edition is designed by Julia Monaco, winner of our 'Design a Cover' 2020 competition.
