Intermezzo from 'Manon Lescaut' by Giacomo Puccini, arranged for Flute Choir by Trudy Kane. The opera Manon Lescaut was composed by Giacomo Puccini between 1889 and 1892, with a libretto by Luigi Illica, Marco Praga and Domenico Oliva, based on the 1731 novel "Histoire du Chevalier des Grieux, et de Manon Lescaut" by Abbé Prévost. It was Puccini's third opera and is considered his first great success. In the following 15 years, he went on to compose La Bohème, Tosca and Madama Butterfly.
