From the Publisher
The composer's love of birdsong and his reading of a book by the Hungarian ornithologist Peter Szoke (Three Spheres of Music on the Physical, the Animal and the Human Level of Existence) containing the notation of birdsongs were the inspiration for these improvisations. The composere's own creative phantasy transformed them into a contemporary work of music.
