For SOLO BASSOON and FLUTE CHOIR - Tahoma, the Native American name for Mt. Rainier, means roughly “the mountain that is god.” This is a powerful work encompassing the force and unpredictability of this mountain. Scored for solo bassoon (or cello, with an optional Bb clarinet part included), 6 C flutes, alto, and bass. An optional C part is included for the alto. This is truly an innovative addition to the flute choir repertoire!
