This a book full of blockbuster pieces and all the big names are here. The Faure Fantaisie and Taffanel's Andante Pastorale and Scherzettino represent the cornerstones of flute repertoire, the range of solo pieces is excellent, especially as the Ferroud can as act a starting point for exploring the book, and the transcription of Ravel's Piece en Forme the icing on the cake. Great pieces at a good price!
