From the Publisher

This piano reduction of Mozart's Concerto KV299 is the outcome of an attempt to bring the work within the reach of flute enthusiasts, teachers and students, even though a harp may not be available. In condensing the harp and orchestral parts a balance has been struck in order to maintain clarity in the layout and tonal texture of the score.

The solo flute part and the flute/harp cadenza are removable inserts. The solo harp part, however, is printed in the piano score, and is bracketed to diferentiate it from the piano reduction of the intervening orchestral material. For this reason, a second copy of this edition will be necessary in order for flutist, harpist, and pianist to rehearse all together.
