Fanfare XXV: The Silver Jubilation was written for the Jubilation '97 Flute Orchestra as the opening fanfare for The National Flute Association 25th Anniversary Convention, conducted by Penny Fischer. The fanfare opens on a festive note with a series of staggered trills, followed by the fanfare theme presented in a march-like style. Though just under two minutes in length, this piece is a perfect program opener for any flute choir concert.
