This is a really hypnotic piece in which the flutes weave around the harp accompaniment in thirds or sixths throughout. The opening and closing sections have a simple flowing melody which contrasts with the more stately character in the middle of the piece. The harp gives a gentleness to the texture, the piano adds a little more weight and substance. Whichever you choose this is magical!
