Beethoven used a composition by Diabelli to write his famous 33 Variations on a Waltz. Here we have Diabelli’s composition using the Cavatina from Rossini’s Barber of Seville. Written for flute and piano this new edition starts with an ornate introduction followed by moderato section that is fun to play. Intermediate/advanced level.
