These three short Bagatelles are quite delightful and make a really good addition to the romantic repertoire at this level. No 1 (Alla Minuetto) is the longest and perhaps the most challenging of the three having 2 chromatic passages and some top F sharps to negotiate. The Causerie, marked moderato placido con delicatezza, and the Valse Gracieuse allow the player to show good tone control and dynamic contrast. I know I hold a candle for Kronke but I am sure that these pieces will not disappoint.
Difficulty level, roughly compared to ABRSM exam grades. 0 is beginner, 9 is advanced (beyond grade 8).
