Anton Eberl 1765 - 1807
The Sonata Op 29 is Eberl's only work for flute and piano. It reveals Eberl's subtle sense of sonority and tone colour as the work progresses from the serious demeanor of the first movement to the songlike character of the second and playfulness of the third.
Difficulty level, roughly compared to ABRSM exam grades. 0 is beginner, 9 is advanced (beyond grade 8).
