From the Publisher
Published in October 2013, this 7 minute suite is aimed at grade 2-5 players. Arranged by UK Composer and woodwind teacher Keri Degg on three traditional Christmas Carols; The Rocking Carol, I wonder as I wander, and Noel Nouvelet.
A Flute (in C) part is included, plus two Clarinet parts; Easy (much of the music is below the break, and graded at around grade 1-2), and a Standard edition (the range is a little more; up to C above the stave, and an optional flambuoyant ending up to top E if you wish, graded at around 3-4). Parts are also included to play the solo melody on either Alto, or Soprano saxophones; the choice is yours.
Because of its nature, the piece can be shortened, and Carols omitted if programming time is an issue; each Carol resolves individually so this is not a problem.
This book also includes a CD which includes; Tuning note, Demonstration tracks (melody lines and piano together), backing track (complete with festive bells and chimes), and piano backing only (for if the bells option is just a step too far).
