Product Reviews: Sonata for Flute and Piano (includes CD)

I;ve always loved this Sonata and wanted to learn the flute part, but there seemed little point in the absence of anyone to join in with me on viola and harp!

This edition theoretically solves that problem with a very thoughtful ans sensitive arrangement of the two other parts for the piano - if I can ever find a pianist accomplished enough to be able to play the formidable piano arrangement.....

Unfortunately, the accompanying CD is just a complete performance with flute and piano. There is no stand-alone piano performance to use as an accompaniment CD. This is a great pity. If the publisheres could only see their way to producing a real accompaniment CD with just the piano part, then five stars wouldn't be enough for this product.
