Beautiful flute duet, fun and interesting interesting to play with a couple of extended techniques. Highly recommended.

I bought this piece in preparation for my A level music ensemble performance exam... And I have to say that I am not in the least disappointed, the paper is of high quality which although isn't important it does prove as testament to the quality of the book, the music is somewhat challenging but nothing horrendous... And the time you spend learning the piece is not wasted as the end result is one of the most beautiful flute duets I've heard in a long time.

I bought Maya as a present for a friend, and I think she was really pleased with it. It made for something different - as we are both flautists we can play it together or she can work on it with someone else. The piece is lovely as a duet, as the parts interweave and each player plays the prevailing melody at different points. It is great to work on techniques such as double tonguing and tone at high pitch.

My daughter chose this for her and her friends to learn and perform at school and I believe they are doing it as part of their GCSE music. She previously learnt another Ian Clarke piece for her Grade 7 (Sunstreams) and likes the composer's style. It is challenging, though she is enjoying playing it. I can't wait to hear her and her friends' performance.
The packaging for post needs improving as the cardboard envelope was soggy from the rain! Fortunately the music was ok.
