The strips do assist in preventing tarnish but I do find they need replacing every 2 months rather than the suggested 'approx 3 months'.
The price seems rather high but similar papers bought on the internet (i.e. from Ebay) that I tried were not effective so it seems you get what you pay for!

I cannot really speak to their effectiveness because that would require a test under laboratory conditions. The sheets are much smaller than the one that came with my flute so I was a little disappointed by their size. I am sure they will work fine if you are diligent about cleaning your flute before putting it away.
