“Broke after using only a few times”
This music stand is very light and easy to transport. But unfortunately the top screw broke after using only a few times. So it's not possible to use the stand anymore.
Definetely not worth the money!
“ff Ultra-Compact Flute/Picc Stand”
This is without doubt one of the best gadgets I have bought. It folds down to fit inside the flute while in its case so you always have it with you. While it is obviously not as robust as a more traditional flute stand, it is perfectly stable and will hold a flute or piccolo safely. It allows you easily to switch between flute and piccolo during rehearsals and performances without having to carry two stands.
I set it up on a table top to hold my flute during practise rather than laying it down in the case or on a surface.
I highly recommend this flute/piccolo stand for its portability and small size, and versatility in holding either flute or picc.
“piccolo stand - feedback”
As a player (simultaneously) of alto sax, flute and piccolo I need to have all three readily to hand when performing. The piccolo stand works pretty well - it's easy to put up and fold away and the instrument feels secure and is pretty easy to get on and put back.
My only criticism: there is nowhere to put your name in case it gets left behind/lost.
“Very handy, very stable”
I'm very satisfied with this thing!
It's light, it's small, it's stable, it's easy to handle, so it has everything I expect from a stand.
“Not worth the money”
This is a good idea but not worth the money and needs a better design. I find it hard to screw down as the top of it keeps flying off its not the easiest to fold down. Would not recommend.
“Not suitable for all piccolos”
First the plus points.
It's very light, doesn't take up much space, ingenious design, stability is ok.
Unfortunately, it doesn't fit all piccolos, the last thing you need when you've a quick change to make is to pick up the instrument and still have the stand attached to the end of the piccolo!
This may be just the stand you are looking for, but if buying as a piccolo stand check it's suitable first. For that reason alone, I wouldn't recommend it.
