Product Reviews: Helin 410L Tenor Saxophone Chamois Pullthrough

I was finding I was getting sticky keys so I bought this to dry out the body of my sax after playing. It works really well, cheaper than other alternatives. You drop the weighted end of the cord into the bell, tip the sax out, the cord drops out through the neck opening and you pull it through. Ignore the other review for this item because the reviewer seems to be trying to use it to pull through the neck of the sax. It is absolutely only for the main bore/body of the sax.

First of all, I cannot fault the delivery of these items - Just Flutes were excellent as usual. These items, however, were simply not fit for purpose. I bought pullthroughs for both alto and tenor saxophones. Unfortunately, neither pullthrough actually pulled though either saxophone neck successfully. In the end I had to use brute force to get the alto pullthrough out of the neck. When I tried to do the same thing on with the tenor pullthrough the item simply broke in my hands. I now use the alto pullthrough for the tenor saxophone - although it is still a pretty tight fit. And I have thrown the tenor pullthrough away.
