I first began to learn as a child and gave up as many children do. I returned to music learning and wanted an instrument to lasf my whole life as my goal is to play for my own pleasure and not professionally. I decided I wanted the best student flute of the highest quality metal that i could afford. I decided on this model as it’s fully silver tubing and headjoint would serve to teach me good tone and accurate intonation. It’s beautiful tone almost teaches me all on its own. It’s beautiful resonance and it’s fabulous mechanism is wonderful for an adult who is learning. I also wanted open hole to promote good hand position and as it came with key plugs it allows you to remove one at a time while you get used to good finger position.
