“Great Reed so far. Money saver in the long run”
I was surprised at how good the Reed was and how natural it felt. I play on a vandoren traditional strength 3 and the legere 3.25 was just about perfect strength. This is on my alto, I've heard that for other saxophones the strengths differ.
Quite a mellow, smooth tone throughout all registers, but articulation doesn't suffer at all. The top end from about a high B upwards and into the altissimo register isn't quite as bright as a cane Reed but I'm nit picking! I'd highly recommend giving this Reed a try, it will definitely save me money and time trying to find a good cane Reed.

My Legere 2 1/4 reed has finally split! Just over seven months of producing a consistently great tone. Even though it cost £25, it was over three times more cost-effective than buying cane reeds. I shall be sticking with Legere reeds from now on.
