Product Reviews: Fantaisie on Françoise de Rimini for Flute and Piano

The service from Just Flutes was excellent as always. The music arrived exactly when I was told it would, after just 3 days. The price was again as good as any, as were the shipping costs.
The piece is a hidden gem in my opinion. One of Taffanel's less well known works, however a great showpiece and plenty of fun in playing it. Sure to entertain any audience. For a good recording, see James Galway perform it on YouTube in Belfast.
The Little Piper edition is good. I think there is at least one more edition, however I find the Little Piper editions great generally. There's a good bit of background info on the opera and it's composer, which is hard to find elsewhere.
Overall, very pleasing.
