“A no-risk purchase!”

Chris Hankin Just Flutes staff member - chrish@justflutes.com

This is a rather quirky piece for flute choir that is really easy on the ear. Conventional forces of piccolo, four flutes, alto and bass make this a practical choice for choirs and there are no great technical challenges posed. It's in the character that the interest lies, and if the speed is fast enough the cross rhythms will really allow the music to drive along. There is enough independance between the parts to make it interesting for the more advanced and also saftey in numbers to help the less experienced. The piccolo is used mainly for colour, there is a short cadenza for a solo flute and the jazz chord plus snap fingers at the end bring the piece to a fitting conclusion. This is a no -risk purchase that you'll always find useful.
