Prelu-duo et Danse for Two Flutes [Playing score]
- Editor's Choice
“A great duet!”
Prelu-duo Danse is actually an arrangement of a piece for flute and piano. It starts with a beautiful melody accompanied by an 'alberti bass' before launching into a funky rag. The slow section returns at the end. Flute 1 is the star here as it has the original part but if Flute 2 is really powerful in the low register, holding their own will be no problem! This is great recital material.
