'La Danse de la Nuit is an original composition scored for five flutes and piccolo. It is a thrilling piece that makes sure no player is left out of the excitement! The piece begins in a brisk tempo, the 'dance' part of the piece, and later goes into a slower, mysterious section, which is the 'night' part of the piece. The fast parts of the piece should be played with strict rhythm so that all the parts line up and the moderato sections should be played with rubato and much expression.
