Flute Trio in G major, Op.29

£17.00

  • Highly recommended
  • Great for teachers

From the Publisher

It's a mystery why this trio has gone unnoticed so far, as it offers everything the flute heart desires. The concluding Polonaise is a funny piece and towards the end a true flutistic fireworks, which should put the listeners in the greatest ecstasy. Overall, the trio is very playable, but some places must be practiced, as the 32tel figures in the Adagio con moto, since the basic speed is clearly specified by the "con moto".

The first print is reproduced here almost unchanged, which speaks for the quality of the music publisher André. Articulation and dynamics are largely in agreement with each other, which is   more of an exception in first editions around 1800 .
