Join us for a fun, immersive week of Flute playing in the seaside town of
Aberystwyth.
Our course is tailored to the needs of our students, offering a safe place to explore and develop flute techniques to a higher level with a group of friendly flute players.
The course is led by Lisa Nelsen (and assisted by Mali Gerallt Lewis), bringing insight into well-loved exercises, studies, pieces, and ways to reinvigorate approaches to playing.
Participants will have opportunities to work with each other in ensembles every afternoon as well as sessions with piano, cello and a string trio. There will be 2 performances at the end of the week.
The MusicFest programme is filled with concerts and workshops lead by other gifted groups involved in the festival. More information regarding content for the course will be posted after applications are accepted.
Bursaries are available for students in education.
