Dance of the Sagin’ Cajun is a musical homage to the fabled college music professor, Dr. Lucius Devereaux. Professor Devereaux was a proud man of Arcadian descent who loved teaching his students about music. He specialized in the history and performance of Arcadian folk music as well as New Orleans brass band music. He was a popular professor, revered for offering sage advice on performing the aforementioned musical styles.
