Tim

Flute and recorder tuition from friendly & experienced teacher of almost 30 years based in the Welling (Kent) area. Beginners to advanced of all ages welcome. Will also visit in Blackheath & Greenwich areas of London.

Tim has supported countless students through their grade examinations & diploma preparations but is also happy to build a course of study for those students (particularly adults) who have no interest in exams & just want to explore their instrument & it's repertoire. He also has considerable experience in helping students overcome the things they find challenging, both musical & physical.

Tim is a graduate of Goldsmiths' College, London University where he earned his Bmus (Hons) & CMTA (Certificate in Music Teaching to Adults) & in addition to teaching privately, currently works at Schools in central London and Ealing. He holds a LTCL (distinction) from the Trinity College of Music & has given recitals both as soloist & recently as one half of the Acroama Duo.
