My primary aim as a music teacher is to help foster a love of music in people's lives. I tailor my lessons to the individuals I teach and am happy to teach children and adults of all abilities. Whilst I am happy to teach flute players up to an advanced level and tutor music up to A-Level, I only teach the piano to an intermediate level.
I hold an MMus degree in flute performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire where I held a Founder's Scholarship and prior to that I studied Music at Durham University, graduating with first class honours in 2011. I am also a qualified music teacher, having completed my PGCE at Magdalene College, University of Cambridge. I am currently Head of Junior Music and Performance at Wimbledon High School, having previously taught at Thomas’s Clapham and James Allen’s Girls School. I teach the flute privately at home, in addition to freelancing with various chamber groups and orchestras.What I teach:
