More About Me
My Qualifications: MMus, PGCE, BA Hons Music
My primary aim as a music teacher is to help foster a love of music in people's lives. I tailor my lessons to the individuals I teach and am happy to teach children and adults of all abilities. Whilst I am happy to teach flute players up to an advanced level and tutor music up to A-Level, I only teach the piano to an intermediate level.
I hold an MMus degree in flute performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire where I held a Founder's Scholarship and prior to that I studied Music at Durham University, graduating with first class honours in 2011. I am also a qualified music teacher, having completed my PGCE at Magdalene College, University of Cambridge. I currently teach music at James Allen's Girls' School and for the tri-borough music hub in West London in addition to freelancing with various chamber groups and orchestras.
