Samantha Moore

I have a degree and teaching diploma from the Royal College of Music and have been teaching the flute for the past 25 years in a number of schools, and privately, to students ranging widely both in age and ability, from beginner to diploma level. I hope to encourage my students to develop their musical skills in a supportive environment and help them build confidence in their abilities and adopt a range of practice methods which will empower them to work independently. I adapt my teaching to each individual: to help them overcome any musical difficulties and inspire them to listen and experiment. I aim to help them develop a personal musical voice and hope to sow the seeds which will allow them to explore their own creative ideas.
