I have been playing and teaching professionally for over 45years in styles from classical, jazz, & ethnic music to improvisation and composition. I also prepare students for grade & diploma exams. In extended techniques I include an easy method of learning circular breathing for flute plus multi-phonics. I teach according to what student wants and together we develop a tailor made individual course of lessons rather than from a rigid lesson plan.

I studied at Guildhall School with the late Prof Rainer Schuelein and have recorded over 60 CDs published by Northstar music UK: 5 major films: 6th Happiness, Hideous Kinky, In The Place of the Dead+ DVDs & docs BBC 2 Egyptian Journeys, ITV The Widow and BBC1 The Serpent. I was voted No: 72 in The world’s best 100 jazz flautists of all time by www.digitaldreamdoor.com 2005. I'm a solo flute ‘Sound artist' and play with Zen Bicycle Band, 'whereness' CZW Trio, 'whereness' , Dragonfly, and the Free Range Orchestra.
