A prize winner of national and international solo and chamber competitions, scholar of The Royal Philharmonic Society and the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Bulgaria, an award holder of the Royal College of Music and Royal Philharmonic Society. Currently, Wigmore Hall Trainee Support Musician for Chamber Tots.
I am a Bulgarian flutist and recent Royal college of Music graduate where I studied with Sue Thomas, Kathleen Stevenson (flute & piccolo), Rachel Brown (historical flutes) and Simon Channing.
I have been teaching for about 5 years now. I can help with exams (ABRSM, Trinity, Music medals etc.) or I can teach you the basics so you can play for fun. Some of the tools I use are Kathy Blocki's methods & Trevor Wye's Practice books. And I am also interested in the Suzuki method so I tend to include playing by ear and memorising.
My big passions are chamber and contemporary music. I am currently working on a project involving contemporary solo flute music and visual art. What I teach:
