Flute and piccolo player Nevena Atanasova is a prizewinner of national and international solo and chamber music competitions. She is a scholar of the Royal Philharmonic Society and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria, and an award holder from the Royal College of Music.

Passionate about music education, Nevena has worked with organisations such as Wigmore Hall Learning, the National Youth Orchestra, and the National Children’s Orchestra.

Her teaching philosophy draws on the Blocki Flute Method and Suzuki practices, with a focus on strong fundamentals, listening, and nurturing a creative, passionate approach to learning the instrument.
