Michael Liu

Hello, I’m a very experienced flute teacher and am currently busy working as a freelance orchestral flautist. I studied at the Royal Academy of Music, with William Bennett OBE, Kate Hill and Patricia Morris (piccolo). My teaching experience ranges from young beginner pupils, teenagers in school, to adult amateur players; as well as flute pupils from music specialist school and music college undergraduates. All levels welcome, I'm very patient and fun to work with. I currently have 100% record of pupils achieving Distinction at Grade 8. I teach online, my pupils travel to me or I visit them at their home depending on my availability and their location. I’m also happy to help preparing for an audition (ie NYO/NCO or music college), preparing for a recording, competition, or chat about studying at a music conservatoire in the UK/US/Europe.
